sparkeyfc Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 after downloading the 10.3 patch via stream it no longer lets me load the game. Everytime i click launch game i get a message saying Football Manager 2010 failed to start (error code 77). Administrators Neil Brock Posted March 2, 2010 Administrators Share Posted March 2, 2010 Try verifying your game cache now and see if that helps Step one Verify Game cache: -Load Steam -From the My Games tab, right-click on FM2010 and select Properties from the menu. -Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button. -Steam will verify the game cache files (GCF's) - this process may take several minutes. -Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit. Step Two: Restart Steam - Simply close down Steam via going to the 'Exit' then restart it Step Three: Verify Game Cache again - It should download the damaged files and resolve this issue.
