As the title says when i try to run the game this comes up and won't let me onto the game.

I have tried unistalling it and reinstalling it but it still comes up, how can i get rid of it and get the game to work?

So delete the settings folder?

Go to control panel, click on classic view. folder options will then appear, then click on view tab and change setting to show hidden files. Go to c:, users folder, appdata folder, roaming folder, sports interactive file, fm10 file, finally delete settings folder

When i look in the Football Manager 2010 folder in this directory i only find one folder named 7914, I have been to control panel to set to view all hidden folders but still no settings folder.

Re-read the instructions again. That is the folder in My Documents not the one outlined above.

one of the best advice ever! Thank God my game is alive and kicking again. Took me quite awhile to figure where to find the settings folder in my pc.

So I switched to Classic view, and checked the folders and I still can't find the FM2010 settings in the folder??? Completely lost Someone help PLEASE!!!!!

It's on the newer game and is running through steam, but I am having an identical issue here. I have the same problem on my new laptop.

But i also got blue screen after the popups - Im only come to load fm or if im lucky i can start new game, but when it load for the new game the blue screen comes.

Had tryed to delete settings doesnt help at all..

Reinstall fm and steam doesnt work either..

What to do? So upset to spend 6K on a new computer and then i cant even play the game i love.
