Sound
How do you buy players outside of transfer windows, so they come in at the next window?
Fabio MVP
Just how many threads have you created... Just buy player like you usually do. make an offer, let's say it's get accepted, offer contract to a player. He signs, but he'll join when the transfer window opens. Fabio MVP
Don't cry Fabio it's only a thread. If it's only one stupid thread of yours I wouldn't, but...
Tomer
Anyway why don't we see this more in real life? Especially with bigger players? Injuries, players wanting to concentrate on their football and not transfers, teams not wanting players to get distracted...
Sound
If it's only one stupid thread of yours I wouldn't, but... As I've said before I'm a newbie and haven't racked up the hours and hours of gametime that you guys have.

Tomer
As I've said before I'm a newbie and haven't racked up the hours and hours of gametime that you guys have. To be fair, this is something you could quite easily have figured out yourself.
Fabio MVP
As I've said before I'm a newbie and haven't racked up the hours and hours of gametime that you guys have. You're for almost a year here. I was a newbie too, still I haven't made that much silly threads. I searched instead.

Neji
There's no limit on the amount of threads you can make so why we're commenting on it is beyond. Let's act like grown ups, shall we?
Vic Taylor
Just how many threads have you created... 32 in February alone... I counted. :o And OP, not having a go or anything, but why didn't you try to buy a player outside of the tansfer window to see what would happen?

Fabio MVP
32 in February alone... I counted. :oAnd OP, not having a go or anything, but why didn't you try to buy a player outside of the tansfer window to see what would happen? That is ridicilous (sp?) amount. And for Neji, yes we can make as much threads as we want. But, why make suchy silly threads as this one? He could search (even though TBH, no one would make a thread on this subject or ask this). Tomer and Vic gave him proper answers.
Neji
Silly thread or not, would it hurt just to leave the snappy comments out? The problem with GD atm is people think it's ok to flame users for 'silly threads' or whatever, that's why so many threads turn into nothing but arguing. If you don't like the thread, then just stay out of it.
baker.simon
Anyway why don't we see this more in real life? Especially with bigger players? Yes, I could just imagine the Liverpool fans reaction if Torres had agreed to go to Man City or anyone at the end of the season.
Fabio MVP
Silly threads are the GD's problem ATM.
Vic Taylor
That is ridicilous (sp?) amount. It's... *thinks for a moment* 'ridiculous'... I think. And for Neji, yes we can make as much threads as we want. But, why make suchy silly threads as this one? He could search (even though TBH, no one would make a thread on this subject or ask this). I haven't actually looked at any of his threads. I just saw the ones that got closed. So my opinion is somewhat baised... Tomer and Vic gave him proper answers. Why thank you. And, Neji, man, Fabio did answer the OP...

If you don't like the thread, then just stay out of it. That's fair enough and all, but surely a simple search (as stated in the rules) wouldn't hurt and would result in less of the threads that are causing issues? EDIT - This is not an attempt to cause an argument/problem and is a genuine question.

Neji
And, Neji, man, Fabio did answer the OP... I know he did, but he still felt it was necessary to make a pointless comment. That's fair enough and all, but surely a simple search (as stated in the rules) wouldn't hurt and would result in less of the threads that are causing issues? In an ideal world, yes but this is the nature of an internet forum. Searching isn't a rule, per say. Not belittling other users is.

Sound
If this is the sort of discussion that flares up when I post a silly thread I must make more.
Neji
And this is allowed, is it? It's another pointless comment, just like commenting on how many threads someone makes. I'm going to close this now, if you want to discuss this further, PM me. To sum up - engage brain before posting.
