Neji
When does that come up? Is it at the end of the installation? If so, it's probably no big deal - just launch the game and see if it works.
bertilak
yeah its at the end of the installation, i cant find anywhere to launch the game, it keeps going back to the installation wizard.
Neji
Press the Start button and goto Games. See if there's an FM icon in there. Otherwise, goto C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007. If that folder is there, go in and see if you can launch the game from the fm.exe icon. Neji
In that case I'm not sure what to suggest. Have you tried compatibility mode and running as admin?
bertilak
thanks for your help, im logged on as admin, how do i try compatibility mode?
Neji
Goto the DVD drive, right click and choose Open. Find the setup icon and right click it, then, from the drop down menu, click Properties. In the window that opens, goto the Compatibility tab. Tick the box next to 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' Then choose an Os from the drow down list - you're best bet is probably choosing Windows XP SP3. Also at the bottom of this window - tick the box next to 'Run this program as an administrator. Then press ok, go back to the setup icon and double click it. bertilak
now its saying 'installer unable to run in graphical mode, try running installer with the console or silent flag', what ever that means?
Neji
You can probably find out more if you do a search for 'graphical mode'. I have a feeling it may be something to do with Java. Try downloading the latest Java for your system from the link below. http://www.java.com/en/
