Why are the biggest teams buying the crapest players?

Recommended Posts

Im in season 2012/2013, and im finding the game to be an absolute walkthrough now. Not only because my team in IMMENCE, but because the other teams are buying awful players or not buying at all! Im Milan, ive got such players as Pato, Dzeko, Fabregas, Gourcuff, Veloso, Sakho (awesome!!) and a sh*t hot regen by the name of Bastianelli. Oh, and Rene Adler. Inter are running around with players like Leighton Baines, Christophe Berra (!!) and havent even bothered replacing their pensioners. Barca are worse. They went and bought Albert Riera, Goran Pandev (not that great a footballer btw), Ryan Shawcross, Robert Huth and Khalid Boulahrouz. Whats with it?

yeh - there is a problem with transfers for sure. To SI's credit, the AI do now buy youngsters to ensure more competition for years to come and it is easier to sell players (the fringe ones). But there is problems with the big teams and their transfers - it seems they are willing to spend money on inferior players just because they can or because they are available.

Am I the only one to see a correlation here? :D
