The best job in the World?

IMO testing FM in the summer must be the best job available! Playing the game for hours on end, and getting paid for the privilege!?

One negative though would be that my mates would blame me for any bugs in the game, so maybe it's best to keep it on the low lol.

If you were a tester you'd be pretty popular as people tried to find out all the new features!

Definitely not as fun as it sounds.

btw this is totally off-topic, but I sent off an application to work at SI for work experience this summer, but they turned me down, saying they "don't offer oppurtunites for work placement" :'(

Particularly because you'd be testing the software, not playing the game. And then once the customers get the game and start finding bugs, you'd be the most hated person in the community, not the most popular.

That's destroyed my vision of a perfect utopia full of Fm fans playing the game, going mental upon winning the league, then returning home to thousands of friends buying them pints for info. :

I was just intrigued as to how it works and whether or not it's enjoyable, but clearly it's not a pleasant experience!

Some people take great delight in finding bugs, if you're that type of person you'd probably love it.

It does however involve playing an unfinished game and lots of repetition. It's not a simple as playing the game as you have to actively look for bugs and probably do things out of the ordinary a lot of the time.
