New Team :D

Recommended Posts

I recently created a new team, completely blank, thanks to the brilliant new editor :D

I gave myself a 50million budget to sign all my squad and staff.

The team is called "Harchester Utd" and i started them as a whole new club in league one :D

After Getting stupidly far with Reading FC i wanted a new challenge and this is it :D

Has anyone else done something like this?

(feel free to ask for a copy of the editor data if you want it)

right, ive uploaded it to mediafire,

http://www.mediafire.com/?hnzt1ezymm2

use that link and download it, do not open the doc, but save it somewhere where you will be able to find it again

Once saved, find the file, and move it to...

mydocuments>sportsinteractive>footballmanager2010>editordata

when starting a new fm game, there should be a tickbox when choosing your database and what not saying enable editor data or change editor data.. something like that, tick it and enable the harchester utd data :D

then obviously create your manager, choose league 1 and harchester utd

this should be the correct editor data, if it is the version with 100mil rather than 50mil, please say :)

don't create players, just add a new club rather than editing one already, move teams down leagues to make up numbers (L1/2 can only have 24 teams, no more) and then give yourself a heafty budjet, or just use my database and change the team name and what have you in the editor :)

i admit, the money corresponding to the league was too much, reputation should have been a bit lower, but tbh i just wanted a bit of fun before the patch comes out when i will start with Reading FC again :)

+ i made it going along with the whole arab takeover story like city, just for a league one team :)

well you can create players if you want, but it takes ages and they will all be regens, i would just give yourself a big budjet and buy the players that are right for your division :) but if you want to create players, go ahead :)

Nothing wrong with having fun!

I've made the mistake of creating a team and giving them a massive reputation in the BSN before now,

jackripper: your whole team is regens, you can sell em, stick them in the reserves, do whatever, and then just sign i whole new first team

welshace: i created a new chairman to go with the club, i also created a new stadium and city.

Edle: well your not very imaginative are you.

Cool bro, it will be fun. I did the same type of thing with FM09 and created an All-Stars team in League One. Had no players/staff and gave myself a 5 million budget, created a chinese chairman who would be amazingly patient with me but left other stats at random. I eventually got the team to the top and competed with the big clubs. The game became much more interesting to me after a few seasons when I was building and playing with the youth that came through the ranks. I wish I had kept that save instead of deleting and playing Fm10.
