How much do improvements cost?

I'm a really small team in Indonesia, but we're doing well and eventually I'd like to upgrade my training facilities beyond minimal. I ask pretty much every season and I always get the response that we don't have enough money. I think my income usually tops out around 200k after I get prize money, but apparently that isn't enough.

Has anyone gotten improvements approved as a small team and if so how much money did you have when you asked?

every small team i've done i needed at least 4-5 million in the black.

That's crazy. Was that to go from minimal to whatever is next highest though? I imagine that costs a lot less than, say, top to state-of-the-art.

I had the worst training facilities possible in one of my old saves - 1 and 1, I think, and all other teams were better. The board agreed to upgrade them when I had roughly 1.5M AUD, although whether the fact that my facilities were worse than everyone else's in the league contributed to that as well, I don't know.

So yeah, possibly 800K to 1M pounds would be enough for you, if everyone else has better facilities. Not sure what it goes up to if your facilities are already the best.
