I don't get it...why should I have to reinforce a directive that is a fundamental of my tactic? Not having a go fella just trying to rationalise it in my head. The assistant is telling me to tell the players to pass more direct...but I'm already telling them that. I like to be able to discuss this with players after the match - ie, 'Player X, I told you to pass direct 'cause your short range passing is awful...mess up like that again and your dropped.'
