training a new position?

if a play is a winger, but has a versatilty of lets say 15, how long roughly would it take to make the player accomplished in a more central position? thanks.

Depends how is he already acomplished in that position. Also depends on his age and the amount of games he plays in his new position...

so if hes around 22, and only awkward in the position? i play 4-4-2 diamond, yet i have a very talented winger which i would like to re-train as an central attacking midfielder..

i have also noticed some players drop their stats when trained on a new position... its a tradeoff but make sure you really want him playing there.

If you play him at the tip most weeks, I'd guess it would take a few months.

They don't "drop their attributes" per say, they just become more rounded rather than specialists.

How do you train a new position?

Training->Position training->drop down menu->select new position.

or you can select a palyer, go into his training tab and select the new position from the drop down menu found there
