"superkeepers ruin the game"

I am fed up with these posts!! if you are complaining about it sign Defoe...i've managed Spurs 3 times in my game...and he only seems to score from one on one situations! My advice to these people?...either sign him...or Man up!

Threads like this only serve to annoy everyone. They're no more constructive than the ones complaining about bugs and such.

okay, thanks for the suggestion OP. i'll sign defoe right now as leeds and maybe the goals will start pouring in!

the problem with superkeepers is they create an important amount of frustration to a player.

you watch the game and you manage accordingly. you see you are dominating, creating chances and firing rockets left right and center to a keeper who parries them all. you sit back, don't substitute, don't change your tactics, or anything since you are confident that at some point the ball will go in.

but then the opposition scores a goal from a single 30yard missile from a player with a longshot rating of 12 and neither your defense, your keeper or your tactics could have prevented.

if it werent for all the missed chances you had before and those that will be you'd just accept it as an epic goal and a missfortunate moment for your team. however you are ****ed off because the opposition goal keeper has a rating of 11.0 and in the post-match press conference you state "despite loosing there were positives to the match" and your team goes unhappy because they believe you just been watching another game.

Been done to death from both perspectives.
