A 'sugar daddy' pumps massive amounts of his own money into the club and gives you a huge transfer budget. Depends, you have foregorund who pump masses of cash into the club to spend on transfers, then you have background owners who pump money into the club but once the club has progressed to a decent level he withdraws financial backing and then you have underwriters who don't provide money at all but they will pay for any expansions of the stadium, upgrades of the facilities and write of any debt the club gains. All have their plus depending on what you want, i got a background tycoon but wanted an underwriter as i was playing LLM style and it took some of the fun out.
