Suge
This is constantly suggested so it can't be long before they put it in.
SCIAG
Just arrange a friendly and pretend This. Neville and VDS hardly need testimonials, do they? They're both millionaires. It would be nice to see old players return, but it would end up either making save files huge, or the players who returned wouldn't be the same players they were. Most of the money goes to charities they represent or work with nowadays though to be fair.

In my opinion the point of testimonials isn't getting money, it's playing one last match for your team. If you want one in the game, you can either create a tournament named after the player or just arrange a friendly and pretend.

Think you'll find that's usually just the ones that we hear about, most of the others are just tax free windfalls for the player.

Really  Most of the high profile ones are generally for charity.
