Is this a bug or my chairman forgot to take his medicine?

I'm playing as Verona and got promoted to Serie B.So my board expectations are mid table and in January I'm 2 in the league.Also the board expectations for the Italian Cup are to reach the 3rd Qual. Round.So i beat Ascoli and reach the 4rd and their expectations are now minimu 4rd round.So i beat Cagliari away who are in Serie A 3-4 and i reach the 1rd of the Cup and their expetations raise again to 1rd round.So i beat Fiorentina away with 10 man(my mc was sent off in the first half)and now their expectations are quater final and their confidence level is just OK!!Also after the match my striker who scored the goal against Fiorentina said in the press that he will strive to help the club in the league!!!I'm second and i was predicted 17th.

Yes my friend this is a bug,annoying bug.

I just lost to Juventus in the semi finals and my board cofidence is OK and my fans are disappointed that i lost 3-6 on aggregate ,after getting in the semis with a Seire B club.:confused:

i tend to ignore most of that part of the game.

Chairmen and fans are idiots in FM. SI should be big enough to come out and say they got it wrong with them and will promise to change it for FM11.

Other than that and the daft amount of penalties scored, the game is basically flawless to me.

If you consider that it is a bug then report it with a relevant save game in the bugs forum where it will be seen.
