Alex0paul
On a player's history section is there any way you can add cup games to a players appearances? One of my ambitions in Football Manager is to get a player to play 1000 times but if cup games don't count then its pretty much impossible.
swed151
Is that you Romario? No I don't think it's possible.
Detritus
If you highlight each row in turn you'll see all the appearances and also if they're in a clubs best eleven but currently it'll only add up league stats. This is a common request for future editions but so far SI haven't been able to implement it successfully.
Ryknow
There needs to be a drop down menu like in the Stats > Form section (top right hand corner). This would include an option to view League(default), Cup, Continental, and all. Would make things so much easier when viewing player form.

dafuge
If he appears in your overall best XI then you can see his total appearances/goals without the need for a calculator.
RandomManager
Go to Best Eleven and select overall. If he's made lots of apperances he should be there including cups etc.
