saware
Following the implementation of the home-grown player quota in the 2nd in-game season (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8255784.stm) does this mean that the latest point we can purchase and register a player in order for them to attain home-grown status over the next 3 years is the day before their 19th birthday? How does everyone go about protecting themselves against falling foul of this rule? Do you buy up young foreign players at the start of each season, or do you tend to look at players already eligble due to being trained in England already? Also, is there a facility on the search screen to filter out players that are eligble/ineligble?
shocking
as long you sign them at least the day before their 19th birthday, you're all good.
