Only a thought while driving earlier, would it not be worthy for SI to do a text alert service to let subscribers know when main things are coming out for football manager, mainly date of release for new game as well as when patchs have been released.

Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure they can send emails, which is enough for me.

Unless you have money to spare then forget this idea. It'll probably be 1.50 a text message or something and paying for the game is more than enough.

Obviously you wouldn't be able to read these texts until your vehicle has stopped, right?

Seriously though, I think an e-mail is enough to be honest.

They have emails and Twitter. What more do you want?

Personally, I think it would be a waste of resources.

No. Seeing as I have to pay extra for internet on my mobile.

Get a blackberry, then you can get the emails sent to your phone.

Setting up a text service is really expensive and it's not always something you need to know about when you're on the M1 or autobahn (unless you really like the game that much).
