Option to Build Youth Academy?

Is there anyway to request your board to build a youth academy? cause in my game, i didnt have that option. is there a requirement to meet or what? can anyone guide me on this?

Just keep asking the board to improve youth facilities. Academy comes with the highest level.

We get an academy? I have the highest level + youth academy and NOTHING happens different to any club I manage, in fact* the players I get tend to be worse.

I managed Servette and got a good regen upon loading the game, where-as with West Ham, 4 seasons in - rubbish players ever year.

Not sure but the quality of your youth coaches may have a bearing on this.

Academy does change things a bit. You get more players from abroad etc, but the overall quality of regens seems to depend mostly on club reputation. And luck.

It doesn't. Quality of youth facilities affects the quality of the newgens when they get created. The quality of the youth coaches only affects the youth player's development.
