yyyxxx
Hi every. When i first take up spurs, the coach advises me to give aaron lennon the "comes deep to get ball" preferred move training. Before training of this move, aaron lennon's form was average 7.2-7.5 After successfully learning the move, he hardly ever had a game above 6.9. And i noticed the number of dribbles per game dropped. What i would like to ask is, do i accept such advises everytime? Are they always right? And also is it possible that a preferred move that does not suit a player will ruin his effectiveness/performance?
fuzzrab
Personally i very rarely accept the advice your coach gives you for PPM's. I tend to try and judge for myself what will be best for the player and what will fit in with the way my team plays. I only usually accept his advice if it is something obvious, like don't dive into tackles for def's, and i haven't got round to doing it yet.
charlo116
You have to make the judgement yourself, for example my coaches kept telling me to ask aquilani to stop shooting with power but scores some really good goals by shooting with power. Chr1s Lawson
In my opinion alot of the staff in FM don't have a clue what they are talking about. Always getting bad info from scouts & coaches alike, even top ones.
Vic Taylor
Use your common sense. For example, a coach who tells you to make a left winger dribble down the right flank needs to fired.
Bruce Drundrige
Well when your coach tells you that Erstas should stick to the centre of the pitch when dribbling, then should stick to the right side of the pitch, and then should stick to the left side of the pitch...that's when you know it's time to stop listening...
