Friendly Matches

I really do not want to play these games but I know that they are much needed for your fitness and as bonding time for your players/ different formations. Now I know that I can just select my assistant to take them in 'team settings' but how do I be sure that he is not playing any formation he likes? I'm not bothered about the line up as everyone needs to play but the formation and players' position individual settings I need those to be the same as I will be taking into the next season.

I know I can holiday a match and select use same tactics but can I set it anywhere else, like in team settings or something?
