letissierandhenryaregreat
I'm manager of Grasshopper-Club Zurich, and near the end of the 2009/10 season I asked to expand the stadium (I think it has about 25,000 capacity) and they rejected because there is not enough space. I was wondering how you get the board to build a new stadium because that seems the only way we can get a bigger stadium at the moment.
swed151
You can't ask them to build a new stadium. The board will decide to build a new one if they can afford it, have the ambition, etc. It's quite random really.
RBF652
Fill your stadium so your average attendance is high and have money on the bank. I guess this will boost your chances to get a new stadium. But like it was said above, it's random. Also, 1. keep showing up at the board's room asking for a new one. 2. Show them a blueprint you made. 3. Leave a miniature of your dream stadium on their desk. 4. Organize a rally in front of the stadium demanding a new one. 5. Show up at their house showing a poll you made named "Do Grasshopper need a new stadium?" 6. Do you know any engineers or someone from a construction company? Go meet one and show them you project. 7. Call the chairman and tell him your arch-rivals are going to build a new one so they can mock him. It worked for me!
