schweddy Posted January 31, 2010 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Nigel Adkins was the physio for Scunthorpe for 10 years before he was appointed manager for them a few years ago. Sure that happened while they were in League 1, but sometimes clubs do hire some unlikely candidates from within. I also remember when Ian and Theo came to City, poor guys didn't really know what they were getting themselves into coming to the club when we had all those off the field problems. I think for Theo, coming to City was going to be a stepping stone for a move to a bigger club. But he got injured and it never materialized.
