Interesting takeover

Paul Broadhurst has taken over Tottenham in my game in 2014. He is a professional golfer, but surely not successful enough to takeover a club like Tottenham? I think his best career finish was 12th a couple times at The Open.

Is this the man that has taken over the Hot Spurs or simply a coincidence with a fictional character?

He could be the head of a consortium, sort of like Niall Quinn at Sunderland. He is the chairman of the club, but he doesn't own it or completely supply the cash.

It said he was a promotion from within. As far as I know, he is not on the board at Tottenham nor do I know of any other Paul Broadhurst who is on the board.

I'd imagine it's just a coincidence.

Oh, and there's nothing interesting about golf.

I had an fm 2007 game where, of all teams, Altrincham in the blue square premier were taken over with a sugardaddy. Millions of £ for transfer budget, upgraded facilities etc. You've never seen a team shoot up divisions so fast.
