Start Dates

I am about to manage an international team and try to get them to the world cup. I loaded Brazil as a view only league meaning that I could start my game in December of 2008 at this point there had been 4 qualifying matches in the group. For those that do not know the EPL has no fixtures and doesn't start until it's proper date meaning no games are played until the start of the 09/10 season. Is there no way in future FM's we could have the option of beginning on the first fixtures of the World Cup Qualifiers I would love to start them as my record is already 2 wins and 2 losses. I do not know if this is possible or how many people would use it but I think it would be good to have the option.
