Cancelling a future transfer.

I'm out of the transfer window and recently agreed to sign Demba Ba £13.25m. I've confirmed the transfer and been told the transfer will go through on 1.1.10. However, my scouts have now come up with a few better options which I would like to pursue, unfortunately this £13.25m is my entire budget.

Can I cancel the transfer in any way?

Well you made a deal. Can't be cancelled unless all parties agree to cancel, just as in real life. So you can't cancel anymore, since this can't be done in fm.

I'm moving this to GQ because this is not a bug. As explained by Ari-Tevez above me, you've signed a binding contract so you won't be able to cancel the contract unfortunately.

used to be able to in older games, all the things that need changing and this is one of the ones that gets done, accurate of course but low priority imo.

I'm alittle confused as to how United managed to cancel Ljajic's contract? Hadn't he already signed?

No, Ljajic signed a pre contract agreement, just means that hes agreed to sign but not actually signed anyhing yet!

can you not go to your transfers screen, select the transfer and press cancel.?

i do this sometimes if i accept one by accident (it happens) but they havent always gone through i think
