Re-Calling players from loan

I'm having trouble re-calling players from loan.

Everytime i loan a player out, I make sure I select the option to re-call him and for the first 3 years of managing Roma, it worked fine. All of a sudden in year 4, I can't recall anyone back.

Maybe I made a mistake but I just want to know if anyone's seen this problem. I'm almost certain I didn't make a mistake.

The reason I know I didn't make a mistake is because for some reason in FM10 whenever you offer a player on loan (and select the recall, play against old club, can play in cup matches option).....when you get the offers from the other teams....these other teams never have those 3 options selected and you have to manually go back and select those 3 options again and basically send back a counter offer.

I don't know why that is the case in FM10 but that is very annoying.....not mention that for some reason I can't recall anyone even my injuries are piling up and I need to get back my depth at certain positions.

Did you demand any fees for the loans? If the other team paid for the player loans, then you won't be able to recall them.

The loans need to end in a valid transfer window, so I don't thnk you're able to recall them outside the transfer window.
