Mr_Poopy_Pants
How accurate is the assistmant manager when it comes to filtering out unrealistic targets? Do some players slip through the net, as it were, and could I be missing out on signing a mini legend to my crap team?
CardinalRed
I can only speak about my own AssMan who I have nothing but contempt for but yes generally he does miss some people - I've found I've got people in on loans that he has ruled out. Could be related to one of his stats?
mrjohnny
yes my assistant filtered out gago as he was too good for livorno but found him and signed him for free
trekman
If he's got poor stats in judging potential and ability then I think there is a good chance that he'll miss a real gem. I think its much better to use your own judgement and dont filter unrealistic targets.
Dekker2
When you're looking for squad players, filtering unrealistic targets just makes things easier, but if you're searching for a potential star of the team, it's worth risking getting rejected a few times and doing your searches unfiltered. If you're a lower league club, every now and then you catch a gem of a player you wouldn't have otherwise.
TukayAway
I find the opposite. My 2nd in command regularly recommends players who we have no chance of getting.
