Simple question - manager face!

Recommended Posts

When setting up my manager I didn't include a picture, but now I want to include one. I can't find the option anywhere though - can somebody tell me where it is please?

Cheers :)

As far as I'm aware, you have to add it manually:

1) Create a folder called "Manager" (or whatever you want) in the My Docs/Sports Interactive/Graphics folder

2) Place your manager picture in there

3) COPY and paste a config file from another face pack into your Manager folder (if you don't have one, download one from a site such as sortitoutsi.net)

4) Note your manager's ID number by going to Preferences in FM, choosing the option to display IDs, clicking on your manager profile and noting the number

5) Edit the config file (right-click and choose edit) and delete all the lines except one.

6) With the one line left, edit the name to be the same name as your manager photo, and edit the ID so it's your ID number.

Hth.

That's really kind of you but I have decided to use this as a learning opportunity!

If you are prepared to help though, I have a config file which I've opened to edit and it looks like this:

<record>

<!-- resource manager options -->

<!-- dont preload anything in this folder -->

<boolean id="preload" value="false"/>

<!-- turn off auto mapping -->

<boolean id="amap" value="false"/>

<!-- logo mappings -->

<!-- the following XML maps pictures inside this folder into other positions

in the resource system, which allows this folder to be dropped into any

place in the graphics folder and still have the game pick up the graphics

files from the correct places

-->

<list id="maps">

<!-- Auto generated by fmXML -->

<record from="11096" to="graphics/pictures/person/11096/portrait"/>

<record from="11252" to="graphics/pictures/person/11252/portrait"/>

Obviously lots more <record from> lines

Are you saying I should delete all the <record from> lines, leave the rest of the spiel in tact, and just have the 1 line in there?

Thanks for your help!
