Kilmarnock
Quick question, if you choose to pay transfer fees over a series of months, how does this reflect your transfer budget? e.g. if i spend 5 million on a player over 48 month does this 5 million come off my total transfer budget? Tomer
1/4th of 5M comes out f your budget immediately, and the same amount for every next year for the next 4 years.
Kilmarnock
so its far better to pay via month payments then?
swed151
It can be dangerous to spread payments over multiple years, especially if you don't have a rich club. Some poor financial misfortune can quickly bankrupt the club.

Magnakai Haaskivi
I usually offer a sizable amount in cash plus some payments over four years for big signings. I signed a keeper for 30 million yesterday, for example, and paid 20 million up front, 10 million over four years. That way I stay within this year's budget and can sell some players off to bring my balance back up.
