Unrealistic Player Values

Wow, I wish Southend United could sell players for the amount I can sell them in FM10, not only would our current financial problems be gone, we could pay for our new stadium in cash after a year or two

The values of League One players really are extremely high and Ive made about 5 million in 2 seasons selling run of the mill squad players.

Real life - Simon Francis we accepted an offer recently around the £150k mark.

FM10 - Value 1.1 million.

Ive sold numerous players for 500k - 1million and these are just squad players.

Frank Mousa went for 600k, Adam Barret about 900k etc

Its far too easy to get huge amounts of money for average squad players and kills the game a bit when playing league one as Im able to bid 3 million for players whilst in League One for the money Ive made, thats absurd.

No player in the Southend squad is worth anywhere near 500k, (Barnard aside, who we sold for £175k due to end of contract) but it seems half the team is worth that in FM10.

Of course they are worth that much, we have the best squad in the league

But on topic I havent managed southend yet but have seen quite a few of our players go for weird fees.

Yeah its ridiculous, in two seasons Ive turned us from the financially strapped club we are into financially loaded and able to buy million pound players on a whim.

Killed a huge part of the challenge sadly.

Still languishing in League one even so lol.

Is this seriously not a problem for anyone else ?

Am I just the next Barry Fry capable of making millions wheeling and dealing average quality players??
