dirty1982dec Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 a torrent file needs to be opened with a torrent client. if you don't have one, you need to download one. torrents are not for people who don't know what they are doing. if you don't know i would suggest downloading the patch from a mirror site, where you don't get a torrent file but get the actual patch (what you end up with after the torrent process). the links are somewhere in the sticky post at the top of this forum Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

dirty1982dec Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 are you sure it's not just a .RAR or .ZIP file? if so you need to unzip it is all. just get WinRAR if you haven't already (it's free) and extract the downloaded file. that's what the site says it is, so... dirty1982dec Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 you don't open the patch with anything. it's an .exe file. it opens and updates. that';s all. if it's asking you questions, you haven't got the right thing. that's all the help i'll give now. i've been patient and told you to check things, but you come back with stuff like this ^^^ . one last thing before i go. are you sure you have downloaded it? trekman Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 1. open your torrent client 2. select open from the file menu. In the window that opens go to the location you downloaded the fm patch and select it. 3. leave the program to download the patch.
