fatboyjohnmulhern
Ok, here is my situation. I have a laptop more than capable of handling the high demands to run football manager, as well as other applications such as spotify at the same time. In recent days, my computer is beginning to flag a bit. Football Manager is painfully slow, and so is just everything in general. Does anyone have any neat tips to make my laptop rehealed? Sorry if this has been done before, but even the internet is so slow right now, it has taken almost a minute just to get to this site. Any help would be lovely! AytchMan
If you're running other apps in addition to FM, bump FM's priority up to Above Normal in Task Manager and see if that helps

fatboyjohnmulhern
Ok guys, you wouldn't believe what i did. My specs are v. good 4 gb ram etc. Since being back at uni for over a week now, i had not turned my computer off for more than a few hours. So last night, i decided to turn it off, and leave it for 15 hours. I turned it back on, the first 5 minutes, it was still poor, but then BAM ! it was working back at normal speed. So the moral of the story is to turn off my laptop nightly and shouldnt have too many problems. Can anyone tell me why turning it off helps soo much? (My computer performance was constantly at 100% last night, now never above 50%)
hayeseeboi
well done mate i would still do the defrag if i was you. Sometimes when computers overheat they have to worked harder to cool down, The reason it turns off is probably due to overheating too.
