Am I blacklisted?

I started as a 40-something ex international.

So in year 1 i managed Rushden & Diamonds and won promotion to The Football League. Before season 2 began I was hired by newly-relegated Portsmouth.

We won The Championships in year 2, going away. Before year 3 began I was hired by Man United.

With United I finished 5th, lost in CL semifinal, League Cup final and FA Cup semifinal. I was more than a million dollars under payroll.

In year 4 we were dropped to 8th place by Dec. 20th and I got the sack.

Now it's August of what should be season 5 and I'm still unemployed. I stated interest in jobs in Brazil, Argentina and Germany. I applied for a job in Spain - all lower teams in top divisions.

Just kidding about the blacklisting, but any idea why it's taking so long to find something?

Also after this happends, I don't think you can get a Mastercard, decent % rate on a mortgage or buy anything over 48 months.

I can't even get a library card at the moment.

Active leagues are England, Mexico, France, Germany, Holland, Scotland, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, USA - mostly going down 2 tiers but deeper for England.

So any guesses?

you just don't have the reputation yet i guess, take a tier 2 team for a year or two.

Can't figure out why United hired me. Was offered the England job at the beginning of year 4 as well - but turned it down.
