fatboyjohnmulhern
Is he a normal player on FM? Because in real life, he hardly ever trains, and rarely plays, because of his knees. I reckon he will be forced to retire soon, just want someone to fill me in whats he like on FM! Cheers
dontask
well i know he plays. he retired in 2013 on my game and is now a scout. would suspect hes very injury prone as a player tho
Edle
i think he ca play a lot more than in real life but as has been said his injury prone stat is probably 20. Similarly i would think he has a poor fitness stat as well.
L7M
Injury prone is 20. Shame it's not for his knee though, rarely infact. Seems to get injuries with his Shoulder, arm, foot, hip etc. Never the knee!
Patriarchal
He's very injury-prone and he has recurring injuries set by the game. It felt bad, but I tweaked him further to make his fitness and injury problems even greater.
DanGLiverpool
Reckon for realism he should be set to no training schedule, would make the whole thing more interesting probably.
Kenco
I use him as back up to Woodgate and Bassong, he gets at least one game a fortnight but he is always knackered after a game, so can never play 2 in a week.
Ty
Best option is to flog him on FM! You can still get a big bid for him.

Barkermush
As he always been this injury prone? Its only the last 2/3 years i have heard things about him not training with the 1st team and can only play one game a week. I did'nt know much about him 5 years ago ish. So i'm wondering if he had a major injury to his knee or some thing and as never really recoverd. Or is it that he as always been injury prone & as never done proper training so he can prolong his career a bit longer?

Or is it that he as always been injury prone & as never done proper training so he can prolong his career a bit longer? For the last 3 or 4 years things have been bad for him. IIRC he had a ligament injury in one knee and it has (as these things often do) gone on to cause problems with other body parts! Shame because otherwise he would have easily become the best centre back in the EPL and probably the world. In game he is very injury prone but with careful rotation (and luck) for the 1st 2 seasons you can get about 30-35 games a season out of him, after that it all starts going down hill rapidly. wackettdagenham
Apparently Ledley has has had trouble with his knee(s) for virtually has whole Tottenham career but it has only been significantly bad in the last 2/3 years.
Barkermush
I see. I thought it might have been a injury, thats a shame for him. Yeah i have heard Redknap say a few times: "Without doubt, King is one of the best central defenders in England. But he can only play one game a week, and we have to be careful with him" I remember Martin Jol too saying something like he his the best central defender he as seen in his career. When he was in charge at Spurs.
stevio11
I rotate him and give him about 20 games/sub apps per season and he has never had an injury problem in 2 seasons and does the same training as all my defenders.
fatboyjohnmulhern
On my game, just finished the fourth season, in which he has been on the sidelines for over 15 months of. Thats not including the time when he would have severely lacking match fitness etc.
