Option on 3rd patch to start in January?

Would people like this idea? With the January transfers in you could begin in January and try to drag West Ham or Pompey out of the drop zone, or get over the finish line with Leeds or Newcastle....

It would be nice but won't happen. Problems with licencing. Either SI can't afford to use genuine FA data or someone else has the rights.

The only real option would be to include a foreign league which starts in January when you start a new game, and choose its start date. I think Brazil does.

You can do this already. Either use a downloaded updated database or edit in the transfers your self in the pre-game editor. Then along with England, load up a league that starts in Dec/Jan. When you start the game, choose to start on the date of the other league whilst selecting an English club to manage. Then when your game starts you're manager of the club of your choice at the date of your choice.

Groovy. I didn't know that. Will be trying it once the new DB is out.

This is how I started my most recent game. Started in January and even used FMRTE to edit the league table so it reflected real life. Not the ideal way of doing it but better than nothing.
