My players suddenly got tired when a new season breaks, and I have to play two cup games with my players exhausted. I'd tried giving the players rest before the new season, and also aftewards but there's no improvement with their condition. Anyone knows why or how to fix this?

Do you give players rest days after matches? Is their training schedule to hard?

The schedule was somewhat hard, but I tried reducing the workload.

No, I don't think its much. It's 1/4 more or less of the bar (both strength and aerobic).

ive noticed this too and it takes them at least a month to get up to speed. its easily overcome though.

You need to schedule friendlies and have them on intensive fitness training schedules to get them into shape ;)

Yes, I've done that and they are in shape, but the problem comes with the new season I think
