The point is goalkeepers DO make saves on penalties, and players DO take weak shots, and players DO hit the post. How many of those saves were down the middle? Not many. I dont know why this happens but keepers on FM can't save shots to their left or right on penalties :confused:. They only save shots down the middle of the goal. Chochip Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 In modern football the goalkeepers get away with so much in penalties. The goalkeeper is not allowed to move forward from the goal line until the kicker has kicked the ball.
