Edle
if you find out his hamachi ip, you enter this into the ip box on football manager and it should connect you.

taylorsmen
if theres only 2 of you why don't you connect via the game and not hamachi ? unless youve already tried and failed. I play a network game every year with 3 of us and we get along fine without hamachi. Sorry i can't help in any other way, hope you get sorted.
sando123
how do you do that
taylorsmen
If your going to be the host then make sure you've both got the same database, start the game as normal then tell your friend to load his game as normal and choose "Network",then give him the IP (i think thats found in "game status". Also remember you have to tick in preferences "run as server" Then off you go. I forgot to add,if you both have routers you may need to open the correct ports,i have no idea how that is done though, there is a link on here that will help do that if need be.
