This is the Pep Guardiola Challenge, in honour of the most excellent achievement by Pep Guardiola in winning every trophy in a calendar year, as well as a personal inclination of mine. Also to Dec, for his challenge, and others, who really have made this game exciting and playable in the long run for all of us fans. I shall start it Dec style! Not sure if this has been posted before but, anyhow!

**** It is 2010, and you have just come off a season where Pep Guardiola, the Barcelona legend, stepped up to the managerial post and swept all comers, winning every trophy available in single calendar year and gaining rich praise everywhere around the world. You've just come off your 16th season and you are a local club legend - you just banged in 13 goals and served up 6 assists this time around as a captain and dominator of the midfield. Why not dream to be like Guardiola one day?

The only difference is, you've been a non-league amateur all our life. Playing for your local team in the basement league, on a rainy day in front of 239 fans, you somehow knew you played our last game. Your legs carry you no longer, your old injuries have taken your toll, you jump that little bit shorter for headers... sure, your coach said this was still a fantastic season and you're second top-scorer of the club. But one bad tackle from a two-bit defender sends you slamming into the ground, face first into the mud-soaked pitch.

The economic crisis has hit non-league clubs hard as well, and your old body is taking a battering a half the wages of season before. That's when you knew it's time - time to fulfil your managerial destiny and dream of one day leading the greatest clubs in Europe. You will eclipse the managerial greats like Ferguson, Shankly, Hitzfeld and Lippi, emerging from the rainy, mud-soaked depths of your beloved grassroots club.****

Pep Guardiola Challenge

Play with four leagues, including England, Spain and Italy and one other club. They must all be European leagues.

Begin with any team of your choosing in the base level of the nation. (You are a club hero, remember? No need to begin unemployed for this one)

Bronze Achievement

Win every single trophy possible, in all four leagues, as well as on the national level.

Win every trophy entered in a single calendar year as a top flight club in one of the leagues. (Champions League OR Europa League for European competition)

Silver Achievement

Win every single trophy possible, in all four leagues, as well as on the national level.

Win every trophy entered in a single calendar year as a top flight club in EACH of the four leagues. (Champions League for European competition, not the Europa League)

Achieve being the concurrent holder of every trophy possible on a national level with a single national team. (This is due to non yearly competitions such as the Confederations Cup)

Gold Achievement.

Win every single trophy possible, in all four leagues, as well as on the national level.

Win every trophy entered in a single calendar year in EACH of the four leagues at EVERY LEVEL.

(Champions League for European competition, not the Europa League)

Achieve being the concurrent holder of every trophy possible on a national level with a single national team. (This is due to non yearly competitions such as the Confederations Cup)

Platinum Achievement

Win every single trophy possible, in all four leagues, as well as on the national level.

Win every trophy entered in a single calendar year in EACH of the four leagues, at EVERY LEVEL. (Champions League for European competition, not the Europa League)

Achieve being the concurrent holder of every trophy possible on a club level as a top flight club in EACH of the four leagues. (This is due to non yearly competitions such as the World Club Championship. Bear in mind the Super Cups - you may need to win the league the year before your Achievement Year so as to actually qualify for the Super Cup)

Achieve being the concurrent holder of every trophy possible on a national level with a single national team. (This is due to non yearly competitions such as the Confederations Cup)

Good luck and, most of all, remember to just have fun! That's the point of a game! :)

(I can confirm Platinum is achievable - that's why there are different achievements due to realism of difficulty)
