I won league 2 with notts county in first season, got a great squad and won the JPT trophy on the way too. I saw that benitez was on tender hooks so i thought i might try my luck, my board say they hope i dont leave, liverpool sack benitez and offer me the job !!!... great i thought and then i thought, erm actually.... i want to get notts county in the premier league and regected the job, just thought if i took the liverpool job it might just be too easy and i would end up starting another game soon.... anyone else done this, also it did seem a bit unrealistic them offering me the job after one season winning the league 2.... eddiesenior Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 I got offered the Arsenal job whilst managing Betis which I rejected as I wanted to keep Betis in the Champions League next season.
