Can't find programme to install patch 10.2

Hey guys,

I wonder if any of you can help.

I have downloaded and installed 10.1 but I can only download 10.2 and not install it. It states it can't find a programme to run the update and ideas?

The patch should be an executable file (.exe), so it should be as simple as double-clicking it's icon. If that's not the case, then you may have a corrupt file and will need to re-download it.

The only other possibility I can think of is that you've somehow accidentally renamed the file and removed it's .exe extension (Or possibly some kind of antivirus software has removed it for you). You could try adding the extension, by renaming the file again and sticking '.exe' onto the file name again...

also ensure its downloaded properly via the "save as" and not stored and ran from a temp file as that caused problems for me.

That's the thing people around here asking for help usually have.

Download it to your desktop, close the game and click on it and it will self install. If yoiu are asked for a program to open it with, right click on the icon, click on rename and add .exe to the end of the filename

same happend to me actually. i downloaded the patch from one of the links listet in the patch10.2 tread. Windows said it wasnt possible to extract the file and couldnt find any program on my computer either. I deleted it and downloaded another update from another location and it was ok
