tdurbo Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 Many people had board expectations shifted mid-season? Is a boards expectations based purely on the last season played? Was kind of hoping that a small club like Notts (granted with big ideas when the database was created) wouldnt suddenly massively change their expectations after two seasons in the Prem. They didnt expect much in the Prem, survival (managed 11th), then respectable (managed 5th wahoo!) so then my first season in the Europa League the board expect me to get experience by reaching the second round. Then I win my first 2 group games and it changed to Finalists. Ended up p1ssed off that I'd lost to Inter in the semis! Hmmm at least give me a chance lol. And they want Champs League qualification as well. Am talking 2016 btw Then I win the Carling Cup and they expected me to and shouldn't celebrate, future challenges etc etc...Their first trophy since the Anglo Italian in the 90s and maybe 110 years since anything proper! Ah well, Alfreton Town here I come once I've won the League n Champions League in the Notts Co Stadium they're knockin up next door Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
