mlyons
Did your computer crash while you were saving? I've had that happen to me in the past, and it's corrupted the save game file. If so, that file is toast, and you're going to have to just kiss it goodbye. The game does make backup saves every so often, though. Check your save game folder for a backup save file and use that. You'll probably lose about a month or so of game, though, unfortunately.
Latimerinho
As above, see if there's another copy of your saved game. It tends to put brackets at the end of it with a version number. Else, you may need to start from fresh I often do the above manually anyway - instead of saving I would 'Save As' and create a new file. It helps me with the speed of my game (long-term) and gives me a better chance of running a game with no save errors. I would recommend you consider this to ensure you never encounter the problem again.
Neji
http://community.sigames.com/showpost.php?p=4455390&postcount=26 There's a suggested solution in the above link.
