Responding to opposition manager comments

So Juventus beat me 2-1 and Ciro Ferrara gloatingly tells me they've put a dent in my title hopes (they haven't, really, as Inter lost too and no one else is within ten points with five games left). Three or four of my squad start panicking and wondering whether we are good enough to win the title.

My options are either "refuse to respond" or tell Ferrara I thought he was tactically spot on or that he's my best mate.

This was a problem with previous games - why is there sometimes no "negative comment" option? Would picking one of the positive comments or the neutral option make things better?
