Fair play behaviour

Recommended Posts

I'd guess it depends on a player's sportsmanship and professionalism, as well as maybe other factors such as how badly injured the player is, if the team are desperate for a goal late on or if they're just midway through a game in the middle of the pitch, how much support the player on the ball has etc.

I've seen players put the ball out and others continue, which they're perfectly entitled to. Think what you'd do in the situation.. :o

I think it's pretty much spot on in terms of how often people put the ball out of play and how often they keep it in and attack. The problem is that I don't think I've ever seen a team give the ball back after such a sporting move and occasionally this leads to attacking throws being taken from dangerous positions when the defending team has been too sporting.
