Noob Question about Leagues

When starting a new game, after u add the leagues u want, u have the option of making it playable or view only.

If I choose it to view only, only certain players will be added to the database.

Will I be able to see for example, the league table at the end of the season? Fixtures that they took part in etc?

Any other difference between playable and view only besides the obvious?

you can see the league table and fixtures/results. you carnt click on the matches to go into detail. i think it's just a way of keeping more league's in the game using less "computer resources." i think it also ensure that normal players are present in the team in future years and that teams dont just have greyed out players.

You'll be able to see everything about the league whether you've got it loaded as playable or view only. You can't watch matches for view only, but the only major difference is that you can't manage in a view only league.

AND you cant see the players stats for the viewed leagues, which is a pity i think

In terms of processing speed, is "View Only" heavier than retaining all the players for that specific league/tier with a .DDT file?

I'd say so, as the computer has to calculate all the match results, and not merely have the players there.
