Hershie
Any reason for this? I've moved to Windows 7, and having wiped my PC I reinstalled the game, activating via Steam. I've noticed that I have two Sports Interactive folders in my Documents folder, one which seems to be read by the game, with graphics, save games etc being read from here, with the other being used by the editor, looking for items in the editor data folder within the other folder.
Edle
that is strange. perhaps you have loaded the game twice??
Carl
its because your documents libary is showing you yours and the public documnets. If you open the documents libary then click the 2 locations, you can remove the public folder.

Edit: Actually, still doesn't quite explain why the editor is looking at the other one, does it?
Carl
i have never used the editor, so dont know too much about what folders it uses. it might be coded to use the public folder, or there might a way to change it. dont know really.
Hershie
Hiding the folder from the library and moving the contents to my own documents folder version seems to have sorted it. Editor now looking to the right place I think.
Yid Army
I have had this on 7 too. Only bad thing about a vastly superior OS to Vista.

Indi75
You can also nominate the default save location, which ordinarily is not preset to public. Worth checking that Hershie.
JockStein1967
Before removing or deleting any folders,I would check that both contain the same files, otherwise you could delete essentials. but moving it to your user folder shouldn't be a prob. Helpful info though Carl, cheers.
stevio11
You can tell by the size of the files as one is way bigger than the other

Did an non-destructive merge (ie. copy files over without overwriting any) and it seems to have worked a treat.
JockStein1967
You can tell by the size of the files as one is way bigger than the other Yeah but i was meaning if it was a 'mirror' folder or an independet on eg both having "A, B and C"

DirtyACE
Always wondered about this as well as I'm on Windows 7 too. Though I think that the best thing would be to not touch (moving or deleting) either folder. I doubt it's doing any harm by having both of them showing.
