Innacuracy in Scout reports?

Just wondered - when your scout reports on the next opposition is there not a danger of him reporting the oppositions style of play incorrectly as he has usually watched them away from home the week before I play them at home. So he may report that they will sit back and play on the counter attack, but that was against a strong side away from home, yet against a weaker side at home they may well be a lot more attacking and play at a higher tempo.

ive never considered this at all. overall i dont read too much into the scout report as i can easily just look at their past games to see how they did. i dont believe in changing my formation anyway regardless of the oposittion.
