What does it actually DO to your club? I'm assuming it will always put a transfer embargo on, and accept reasonable offers for your players? Are there any actual benefits to it? I ask as I've recently taken over York City, towards the bottom of the BSP and we're along way in the hole....

quite simply u get a 10 point deduction, a transfer embargo, your best players sold if u like it or not. eventually the debt gets cleared and a new board take over the club. sometimes a club ends up going down a few divisions quickly because of it. portsmouth and stockport seem to be most at threat atm IRL

In real life....it stalls going out of business and helps find a buyer.....but people losing their jobs, 10 points deducted, players not getting paid and a transfer embargo.......Can't see how anything beneficial can come out of it myself.
