Making National Team Manageable

I'm currently in the middle of a game and there's a national team I'd like to manage that isn't flagged as being manageable, due to the leagues and database size selected at the start of the game. Is there any way (via editors or workarounds) to make that team able to be managed by a human player, without restarting the game?

simple answer is unfortunitly no! Im sure weve all had that idea pop into our heads
